Marae-Based Health And Wellbeing Clinics

Well-being Services Where You Need Them
Accessing health services can be challenging when you're far from your regular GP. That's why we bring health and well-being services directly to your marae, making it easier to receive both traditional and modern care in a place that feels familiar and safe. Services include rongoaa (traditional Maaori healing), mirimiri (massage therapy), doctor and nurse consultations, general health care, and podiatry support.
Some Of The Clinics At Whare Oranga
Our Whare Oranga clinics offer a wide range of health and wellbeing services designed to support holistic care for our whaanau. These include rongoaa Maaori and mirimiri, GP and nurse appointments, podiatry, diabetes management, breast screening, arthritis clinics, and access to social work and counselling support. We also provide home and budgeting assistance, health promotion programmes, and smoking cessation support. To learn more or to access these services, please contact your marae directly.
