How do I make an appointment with the doctor?
You can call 0800 622 874 opt.1 or email receptiongp@huakina.co.nz to request an appointment.
I am not enrolled but need an urgent appointment. Can I still see a doctor?
Yes, but you will be charged a Casual Patient fee of $35.
Can I see a doctor without an appointment?
Sorry, all doctor and nurse consultations are made by appointment only.
Do your doctors/nurses do home visits?
No, they don’t. If you are finding it difficult to come in, you can book an online or phone consultation with the doctor.
Do you supply RAT COVID-19 test kits?
Yes, we do; call us for more information
Do I need to come in for my results or repeat prescriptions?
We offer phone consultations for results and repeat prescriptions. All repeat prescriptions have a fee of $5. Please note that repeat prescription requests are checked by a doctor/nurse, and in some circumstances, you may be asked to make an appointment before a prescription can be raised.
